U.S. ARMY XR-7940 KIT.
This rocket is sure to get some real attention at the launch site. Made with a BT-70 size tube and a very nice plastic nose cone for hassle free assembly. This rocket looks way to hard to build, but the truth is, if you can build a simple Estes kit you can build this rocket. First off to get this cool look all you have to do is paint the rocket and fins white. (we tell you what Krylon paint color to use), and the nose cone white. That is it. The rest of the artwork is in the glossy sticker set! Just trim them out and apply them to your rocket and your done. Rocket comes with a very nice 24mm engine tube that is heavy wall foil lined. A engine hook is employed for secure motor flights. Laser cut high quality black fiber centering rings for strength and a real nice 24" black and white checkerboard parachute kit with a swivel to help cut down on tangles. The rocket has 1/4" launch lugs for added strength. The rocket fin set employs 6 high density balsa wood fins that are 3/32" and 1/8" thick. We did take it upon ourselves to come up with this cool looking rocket, as I am sure the Army did not really have this as a prototype, but it does look like a winner. So get one today and impress the gang!

We finally have it finished and tested. This is a real winner, and it will get you noticed at the launches. All you have to do is paint this entire rocket glossy white and the nose cone silver. Next, apply the glossy sticker set to get this cool rocket look. The rocket is skill level 3 simply because the rocket is a 2 engine cluster and employs a 6 fin design. This rocket will fly using any 24mm rocket motors. When using an Estes D12 motor the rocket gracefully lifts of the pad for a slow flight upward! The launch lug is a 1/4" diameter so you can use the Estes pad with the bigger rod to fly it. Kit comes with plastic nose cone and 6 pre-cut high density balsa fins. The motor mounts are laser cut for precision. Recovery is a parachute in black and white checkerboard with a swivel to help keep tangles out. Engine tube is foiled lined for better heat dissipation. MODEL ROCKET NUCLEAR FUSION Order this awesome 2 engine 24mm cluster rocket and have some real fun! This rocket is very easy to build and fly. You get (2) 24mm foil lined engine tubes and laser cut black fiber centering rings. Kit also includes (3) 1/8" thick pre-cut fin set so all you have to do is some light sanding. Estes to roll out Classic Series in early 2009

PENROSE, Colorado USA — Estes is kicking off 2009 with a throw back to the old school, announcing their Classic Series, due for release in the spring of next year. The Classic Series brings back your favorite models from the 70's and 80's, fondly remembered by many as the Golden Years of model rocketry.

Introduced at the iHobby Expo in Chicago earlier this month, the Classic Series is sure to create some excitement. Estes has gone back in their archives, digging for old kit designs and pulled out old drawings and specification sheets, to bring these designs back for all modelers to enjoy, both old and new.

Each kit has been reproduced and updated while still retaining the original model's classic lines. According to the flyer introducing the series, the kits will enjoy Estes high quality body tubes, balsa nose cones and laser cut balsa fins, and all decals will be high quality water slide decals with the exception of the 3024 Phoenix Bird, which will have self stick foil decals as did the original kit.
